Beykent University hosts Schenker Arkas

A provider of integrated logistics solutions with air, sea and overland transportation, Schenker Arkas did a presentation at Beykent University on December 29, 2007 as part of a project it initiated with vocational schools and universities offering education in logistics and transportation.

Schenker Arkas Air Cargo Branch Manager, Mahfi Kızılkaya, gave the students in Beykent University’s department of International Logistics and Transportation, detailed information about air freight shipping and Schenker Arkas services. After the presentation, Department Chairman, Assistant Professor Dr. Ruhet Genç, presented Mahfi Kızılkaya with a plaque to express their appreciation for his contribution.
Schenker Arkas aims to share its experience with students and to help ensure that the sector has a qualified work force by doing presentations at academic institutions that train future personnel for the sector.
