Schenker Arkas Izmir Branch obtains ISO 9001:2000 certification

Schenker Arkas, which bases its business philosophy on customer centered service, continues its drive towards achieving total quality. Investing heavily in CRM in order to meet customer needs, Schenker Arkas has defined its objective for 2004 as improved quality across the board of its operations. Last year, the company gained momentum in this direction when the Istanbul head office obtained ISO 9001:2000 quality management systems certification.

This achievement has now been followed up by similar success on the part of the Izmir branch. In January, the Schenker Arkas Izmir branch underwent inspection by OQS, the certification company, as a result of which the branch was awarded ISO 9001:2000 quality management systems certification. Schenker Arkas provides services across the whole of Europe, supported by an extensive network of warehouses, offices and trained personnel. With ISO 9001:2000 quality management, the company submits its entire business processes and procedures to external inspection.
