Tank Containers: Not only safe and easy, but economical as well

Schenker Arkas uses tank containers to transport liquid chemicals and liquid foodstuffs to Europe, the Middle East, and the Turkic Republics.

By using specially insulated tank containers of many types and sizes, Schenker Arkas eliminates packaging expenses and allows for more compact shipping. Bulk liquid chemicals and liquid foodstuffs are transferred to cylindrical tanks in steel frames and transported throughout Europe and a large region including the Middle East and the Turkic Republics using sea, land, and rail transport.
Schenker Arkas is the Istanbul representative of BTT (Bahn Tank Transport GmbH), a sister company of Schenker AG, and serves import and export customers with almost 1,000 BTT-owned tank containers. With weekly rail shipments from Europe to Istanbul via the Schenker Block Train, Schenker Arkas offers very reasonable freight costs for combined shipping options with sea, land and rail connections.
