Schenker Arkas named the the best solution partner for shipping projects in 2006

The Schenker Arkas Project Services Department was chosen as the best partner by the Schenker Deutschland AG Stuttgart office. Schenker Arkas was given the "Best Player & Partner 2006" award by the Schenker Deutschland Stuttgart office based on an evaluation of the performance shown by all Schenker offices on projects carried out throughout the year. The project department’s impressive performance, professional approach and carefulness in transporting shipments to their destinations in the Eisenmann-Ford Otosan project shipments in 2006 played an important role in the award being given to Schenker Arkas.
Completed projects
Equipment for a complete paint shop was pre-shipped from Eisenmann, a company in Germany, to Antwerp, Belgium and then brought from Antwerp to Gemlik port with Grimaldi’s Ro-Ro service. The shipment was cleared through the Derince customs office, transferred to low-bed trailers and delivered to the Ford Otosan factory in Gölcük. A total of 47 items totaling 3,000 cubic meters were shipped throughout 2006. Another project was shipped though the Stuttgart office from Freinz Kleine, a German company, to Pancar Motor in Turkey. Six beet harvesting machines were shipped from Salzkotten, Germany to Kayseri, Turkey in 2006 in a cooperative effort.
